John Broyles is one of the three founding partners of
Broyles Kight & Ricafort, LLP. John has acquired experience in a
variety of legal areas, including immigration, litigation, and
computer law, but he has dedicated a substantial portion of his
practice to immigration law and assisting foreign nationals with
numerous legal matters. John also is well versed in the
interrelationship of technology and the law and frequently
lectures to both members of the bar and business community on
these topics. John also has worked extensively at combining
immigration law and technology to create an advanced Internet
Business Application for the management of an immigration
practice.
Of particular importance in John's practice
is representing students during the transition from student to a
temporary non-immigrant worker and eventually a green card
holder. To facilitate this transition, John is one of the first
attorneys to develop a prepaid plan specifically
focused upon the needs of foreign students. To learn more about
our Student Immigration Plan ("SIP"), click

and submission of applications for nonimmigrant visas such as the
B-1 (business) or B-2 (visitor), TN (Trade NAFTA), H-1B (foreign
professional worker), L-1 (intracompany transferee), student and
investor visas, and all the various applications for permanent
resident status ("green card"). He also assists small and
multinational corporations with hiring or transferring
professional personnel and assists hospitals and medical graduates
with securing waivers of foreign residency requirements.
Counseling on personnel decisions, employer sanctions, asylum and
refugee applications, deportation proceedings, travel
documentation, anti-discrimination and job contract issues is also
available.
As a result of the technology developed by
John, the firm's immigration practice is nationwide, with clients
throughout the United States and overseas.
John graduated from DePauw University and
received his law degree from the Indiana University School of
Law-Indianapolis. He and his wife, Angela, live in Indianapolis
with their son and two Great Danes.
