We're hiring! The Indianapolis immigration law firm Broyles Kight & Ricafort is seeking a bilingual legal assistant.

Job responsibilities include:

  • preparing immigration forms, applications and documents for clients and attorneys

  • maintaining communication with clients throughout the duration of their cases

  • obtaining criminal records and paying application fees on behalf of clients

  • managing client records for multiple types of cases

  • receiving incoming calls and scheduling appointments

  • printing, copying, scanning, mailing, and completing a variety of other tasks as needed

  • regular hours (8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.)

Applicants should:

  • be fluent in Spanish and English

  • hold at least an associate’s degree (bachelor’s degree preferred) or possess two years of experience in a similar work environment

  • maintain excellent attention to detail and demonstrate superb organizational skills

  • multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • work independently and as part of a team

  • have desire to learn about immigration laws, prepare legal documents, and interact with people on the phone

  • demonstrate strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office (especially Word)
