Broyles Kight & Ricafort, PC is an immigration law firm located in Indianapolis, IN that has an immediate need for immigration case managers to help families navigate the complex U.S. immigration system. The ideal candidate would thrive in an environment where attention to detail is critical, managing and completing tasks is a must, and adapting to changing procedures and rules is a given. You need superb persuasive writing abilities, supported by the ability to gather and organize key facts to solve problems, make arguments and apply critical thinking to complex situations. Bilingual capabilities, (preferably English and Spanish), is desired.  

Skills Needed

  • Bachelor or Advanced Degree required
  • Excellent writing ability in English
  • Excellent communication ability  
  • Detail oriented and a task master (“getting work done” – is your motto)  
  • Prior experience in immigration law not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in-office Mondays-Fridays 8:30-5
  • Prepare and file immigration cases.
  • Write briefs, format cover letters, and prepare personal statements in support of cases. 
  • Maintain calendars, schedule appointments, track deadlines and response dates.
  • Follow up with clients regarding document gathering, questionnaire completion, and preparation for immigration interviews/hearings.
  • Work independently to manage tasks, time, and deadlines, asking for help and reallocation when needed.
  • Keep track of work done on each case using a CRM system, tracking time, deadlines and deliverables.
  • Use Box.com, MS Office 365, Hubspot and other applications to maximize efficiency.
  • Telephone, email and written communication with new and existing clients.
  • Respond to client inquiries by email, telephone, letters and in-person meetings.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion on all privileged, sensitive information in accordance with the Rules of Professional Responsibility.
